This week went by pretty fast, mostly because I was absent Friday. We finished Chapter 9, and might have began going over Chapter 10 on Friday when I wasn't there. But the most interesting thing this past week was the making of an Ethernet cable. I found this especially interesting because I've never done this sort of thing before. And as Mr. Stephens said in class, whatever we're learning here, might not directly benefit the career we might be going into, but everything is connected, so inevitably, things we do here will somehow help us. Lets say, making an Ethernet cable. Whatever job I might have in the future, I will most probably not be making cables, but possibly, in college we may be asked to do this sort of task in which I will be a step further. Once again, reiterating my opinion, learning all this new, interesting material is what I'm trying to absorb out of the class. As far as I know, these kinds of hand-on activities, might be what we should be expecting next semester.
